Bord Gáis Energy is one of Ireland’s most trusted utility companies, supplying gas and electricity nationwide. With a large workforce across engineering, technical, and customer-facing departments, the company needed a uniform solution that reflected professionalism and unity — while remaining practical for a wide variety of roles.
The Challenge
With such a broad mix of environments — from fieldwork and installation to in-office sales and customer service — the challenge was to deliver a cohesive, brand-consistent uniform range suitable for both practical and polished settings. Garments needed to be hardwearing, versatile, and easy to maintain, without sacrificing style or brand identity.
Our Approach
We built the uniform around a timeless navy colour base, providing both versatility and a clean, corporate look. This foundation allowed us to design two core uniform paths:
- A classic white shirt with navy trousers for sales and office-based staff — sharp, formal, and easily branded.
- A navy polo shirt with contrast collars, paired with durable, multipocketed cargo trousers for engineering teams — functional and field-ready, while still cohesive with the overall brand.
To tie the full range together, we added royal blue zip tags to outer layers like jumpers and jackets, drawing in Bord Gáis’ signature colour without overpowering the design. We also ensured all garments featured embroidered branding, enhancing visibility and reinforcing the identity across all departments.
The Result
The final result was a flexible, brand-aligned uniform system that worked across diverse job functions. From boardroom to boiler room, Bord Gáis Energy staff now present a unified, professional image that enhances trust and recognisability in every setting.
